Are you speaking a curse?

The power of Life & Death resides not only in your heart but the overflow that is expelled through the tongue. “Death and life are in the power of the tongue.”-Proverbs 18:21

“The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.”
-Proverbs 12:18

What you speak gives life, or takes it away. What you release into the physical realm is actually released into the heavens. These curses can be utilized by your enemy and that includes the devil. These curses can affect your soul where your mind may be overcome, the joy sucked out of you, your trust perhaps wavered. Curses cleave into your soul, only to be a root of bitterness and or pain in the future. At the present time you may feel "free" from the curse, yet a memory-reminder-future thought may actually reveal that you are not healed yet.

So are you cursing others? No, Not I! Well, I have. I know we all have. This becomes a time when we begin to think before we speak. We begin to investigate our hearts and minds. Investigate the soul and make sure there is nothing impure inside you.

 Ecclesiastes 7:22
"for you know in your heart that many times you yourself have cursed others."
Jesus actually taught us what a curse looks like when he cursed the fig tree in Mark 11:14
“May no one ever eat fruit from you again.” Now of course if you don't know this story, they came back upon this same fig tree and sure enough the Tree was dying  FROM THE ROOTS!
The tree withered from the roots and this is exactly what happens in our "roots"="Soul"
His disciples pointed out the withered Fig Tree and Jesus said, surely if you believed in God  and had no doubt in your heart but believes that what you say will happen, it will be done for you . A curse or a blessing.

How can I curse those whom God has not cursed? How can I denounce those whom the Lord has not denounced? (Numbers 23:8)  God spoke this message to Balaam's to give back to Balak about doing a curse that is from human effort. What this provides for is an insight that as much as a curse can try to attack our soul, we are truly protected in the spirit by God! It goes back to the best spiritual warfare that we have "No Weapon formed against me....shall PROSPER!" .....No doubt the curse happened and the soul feels it, God is going to protect you from the full curse. What this involves is a short lived duration of suffering through the curse. Through Christ you will overcome with strength, perseverance and no Root of Bitterness will be left defile you.

How we might be cursing our Children, Husbands, Ministry, Church, Body of Christ, Finances, Situations.

1) Speaking negatively
2) Speaking hurt and pain
3) Making judgements
4) Gossip
5) Proclaiming hopelessness and faithlessness
6) Claiming and accepting Failures
7) Word/Bondage curses like "You are stupid, you'll never marry, you'll never do anything with your life, you'll never do this....Never accomplish that...you are lazy, bad, worthless, scumbag, trash, whore, drunk, addict, you'll always be a criminal" You get the point!

“Our tongue an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God. Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so” (James 3:9-10).

Bless your Life (God, spouse, children, home, finances, ministry, church etc) we do that by speaking LOVE, we build up, edify and encourage one another. We spur each other on and we carry each others burdens.  Instead of extending a foot pushing them down into a grave, extend your hand and lift them up!

If you are cursing others, STOP! It's not easy, it's going to take commitment with the working of the Holy Spirit. Commitment & Surrender to make that Change is the Key to manifesting the Holy Spirit Power of Transformation!

Lastly, I would never leave you without telling you the GREAT News! Jesus is the BONDAGE Breaker! If you feel someone has a word curse that seeped into your soul and heart, then we can ask Jesus to cut that soul tie!

Jesus, we exalt your mighty and powerful name. You are the Living God with all power and Authority.  We love you for who you are and what you are so intimately able to do for us. Jesus we ask right now to cut those soul ties, erase those memories and blot out those dark spots in my soul from all the hurt that others have cursed onto me. I forgive them Lord because you forgave me! Set me Free Jesus and set them free. I don't want to make this just about me, Lord. Let's make this about you and the work of setting them free in the spirit world too! Free them from any pain or roots of bitterness that linger in their soul. We love you Jesus, Thank You!
All Glory to the Father!  ~Amen!

Why we Suffer, What suffering Produces

"I am concerned about their suffering."  God spoke this in (Exodus 3:7)

God loves you and is so concerned about yours suffering. Job wrote this during all his suffering
" But those who suffer he delivers in their suffering; he speaks to them in their affliction" (Job 36:15)  Are you hearing him to speak to you during your suffering? He is speaking to you- press in till you hear him in your heart & soul.

Psalm 22:24
"For he has not despised or scorned the suffering of the afflicted one; he has not hidden his face from him but has listened to his cry for help"  He hears all your cry's. Never stop going to him! Press into him.

Psalm 119:50
"My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life." He holds promise of deliverance! Do you truly believe that? Do you trust him?

God Cares and Loves you So much that he sent his only begotten Son to carry away your suffering.
He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. (Isaiah 53:3)
You can never feel alone that our Living God came down to suffer. Not only did he suffer for us because of our transgressions but you could never enter his presence and say "you don't know what I'm feeling" because he has lived it all! He has felt every emotion, he had experienced every human trouble. There is nothing new under the sun (SON).

Jesus Came for the people THEN......He Comes to the Rescue of His people NOW!
His Power did NOT die! His Power Rose him from the Dead and then was sent down into all of us through the Holy Spirit! In this Power we become free from suffering.  Just as people flocked to him then to be set free, people flock to the altar and into his presence to be given freedom from suffering!
Jesus Said
“Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.” (Mark 5:34)

You have prayed, prayed, prayed,....................begged.................bargained.......prayed, prayed, prayed.........pleaded............given up...........given in...............lost hope...........You find no relief in the suffering...............Why are you still suffering? There is so much to learn about suffering. For without suffering and turmoil then we lose so much. Through some suffering we gain so much.

What our Suffering Produces
1) Perseverance (Romans 5:2-5)
2) Hope (Romans 5:2-5)
3) Character (Romans 5:2-5)
4) Comfort (through & in Christ 2 Corinthians 1:5)
5) Joy (Gift of the Holy Spirit- 1st Thessalonians 1:6)
6) Sharing- we share with others and grow close in suffering. (2 Corinthians 1:5-7)
7) To truly know Christ is to become like him- we can do that when we endure suffering (Philippians 3:10)
8)Counted Worthy in the Kingdom of God (2 Thessalonians 1:5)
9) Patience- We grow to become patient when we expect the Lord to work on our time- there is no choice but to surrender to HIS TIMING! (James 5:7)
10) Noble Honor from the Lord- for the Lord looks upon his righteous endured -the one who endures suffering because of God! He gives special honor to those martyred. (1 Peter 2:19)
11)Blessings- for when you suffer for doing what is right then you will be blessed by the Lord- (1 Peter 3:14)

The Glass is not Half Empty, it's Half Full. Perspective leads to Victorious Life no matter how much the sufferings.   "I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us." (Romans 8:18) We must trust the word of God; alive and active. It speaks to the promise of liberation from the bondage of decay; the complete understanding that we will be brought into all freedom and glory. (Romans 8:20)

What are you to do in your Suffering?
Become a Conqueror & Glorify God!

1)Learn to take NO shame in suffering! (2 Timothy 1:12)
2)Join with me in suffering, like a good soldier of Christ Jesus.(2 Timothy 2:3)
3)Don't Shy away from suffering- instead help others endure while they are suffering (Hebrews 13:3)
4) Remember that while you are suffering- God's word is NOT dead! So while you Suffer- Glorify God and Promote the Good news of Salvation and Hope & perseverance for the Great Fight through him. (2 Timothy 2:9)
5) When you suffer- take no fear! The threats from the Evil ones will not prosper (1 Peter 3:14)
6) Good warrior in suffering is doing good to evil instead of repaying evil with evil. (1 Peter 3:9)
7)Stand Firm in Faith- (1 Peter 5:9)
8) Endurance-This calls for patient endurance on the part of the people of God who keep his commands and remain faithful to Jesus. (Revelation 14:12)
9)Don't Be Afraid! Go explore the old testament- God spoke to his people all the time about getting rid of fear, his plan is to always free his people!
10) Remember it's all about God's Will, not yours.
11) Remember it's all about staying sinless during your suffering (Like Jesus!)
12) A call to persevere- (Hebrews 10:19)

Yeshua the Passover Lamb!

The Passover is about God protecting his people. When the Angel of death came to destroy, if your door was protected and marked by the blood, then your home would remain safe and protected.

Prophetically, the same holds true for his people today. The door to our soul is protected because we have the blood of the lamb over our door way.  The door way to our soul is covered by the blood and therefore you will escape eternal death.

It always points To Jesus!

The Passover Meal is no different. Jesus took the traditional Passover meal and gave it a whole new meaning!
“This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.”“This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you." Luke 22 19-20

How We Know Jesus is the Lamb!

1 Corinthians 5:7
Get rid of the old yeast, so that you may be a new unleavened batch—as you really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.

For my Jewish readers, Jesus is the Passover Lamb fulfilling scripture in Exodus 12 by selecting the perfect lamb without defect. It's HIS blood that saves us from death!  Jesus as we know Is perfect (without sin) in every way and it's because of his shed blood that we are saved as well.

In John 1:29 John the Baptist makes this declaration about Jesus:
"The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!
1 Peter 1:19-20
"It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God. 20 God chose him as your ransom long before the world began, but he has now revealed him to you in these last days"

Passover Reveals Jesus!

•Traditionally Five days before the lamb was to be sacrificed, it was chosen. Therefore, Jesus entered Jerusalem on lamb selection day as the lamb of God.

•The day Jesus was crucified was the day of the Passover celebration and the day that the Passover lamb was to be sacrificed at 3pm. It was at this exact time of day that Jesus Died on the cross to which he said "It is Finished" John 19:30

•Fifty days later, on the anniversary of the giving of the law (Pentecost), God left the earthly temple to inhabit those who call on the name of Jesus through His Holy Spirit. (Acts 2)

•Three matzahs are put together (representing the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). The middle matzah is broken, (1 Corinthians 11:24)  wrapped in a white cloth, and hidden, representing the death and burial of Jesus. (John 19:40) The matzah itself is designed to represent Jesus, since it is striped and pierced, which was prophesied by Isaiah (Isaiah 53:5) David,(Psalm 22:16) and Zechariah.(Zechariah 12:10)  Following the Seder meal, the "buried" matzah is "resurrected," which was foretold in the prophecies of David.(Psalm 30:3)

Door of Hope

There is this special Door of Hope!  Now just imagine this amazing door that stands between You & Jesus!  On one side there is Jesus and the other side there you are!  Imagine then you find yourself restless, incomplete,
imperfect, in deep emotional turmoil, wrecked by others, ravished by the world. What you are in need of is a new life. A hope that surpasses all. A new beginning or a beautiful ending. The door stands between this world and the heaven. The prince of this world wishes to completely destroy and devour you. The Prince of the Heavens wishes to restore you and make you whole.

Jesus says "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock, If any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in unto him, and will sup with him, and he with me."

How intimate that Jesus stands at your door and desires most for you to open the door to your heart and soul and to commune with him. There is promise here that I want to point out. Jesus "stands and knocks" and it doesn't say he knocked once, it doesn't say he walks away when you don't answer!

Have you ever had a friend or family that really wants to visit with you. The come over and they knock, but they keep on knocking and all the while you stay quiet so they think you are not home! You mute the TV, you turn the lights off, You hide away from any windows, because now they are knocking at a different door to your house! Then they ring the doorbell, tap on the porch window!  How long will they knock, Jeesh? !!  I imagine Jesus to be that persistent, accept he NEVER gives up!

Why would you not open up the door?

Your house is a mess! The laundry is everywhere. The sink and counters are full of dirty dishes. You have nothing to offer your guest because your cupboards are bare and you would be embarrassed to simply offer him just water. Shame and regret for not keeping up with getting rid of the filth in your life. Perhaps you have lost all desire to even socialize with anyone, you really just want to be left alone. The world around you is failing you and the person at the door you think...will likely just do the same. You know that person cares about you, they are after all knocking to see you! However, you can care less that someone will say "I love you....but you really need to do something about this" ......................... This is the problem you see, because Jesus unlike a normal man is not asking you to clean up your house, he wants to come in and clean up with you! He wants to help you, build you up, he wants to clean your place up!  There is some work involved, no doubt. You will have to get the garbage can out and start sorting through your stuff.  This work is sanctifying work. Done in time and not all once. Think of spring cleaning, first you start with one room, you throw out the garbage, wipe down the surfaces and re-organize. Then you move onto the next. So be anxious about nothing and hopeful that through Christ who strengthens you that you'll come to a place of complete contentment and joy in your life.

Why stand on your side & knock to him?

Proverbs 8:34
Blessed are those who listen to me, watching daily at my doors, waiting at my doorway.

 Matthew 7:7-8
[ Ask, Seek, Knock ] “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

What's behind the door that Jesus Stands on?

Song of Songs 7:13
The mandrakes send out their fragrance, and at our door is every delicacy, both new and old, that I have stored up for you, my beloved.

 Hosea 2:15
There I will give her back her vineyards, and will make the Valley of Achor a door of hope. There she will respond as in the days of her youth, as in the day she came up out of Egypt.

Don't wait. Jesus told many parables about not opening the door to him and a time came when it was too late. The door would shut and no one would ever  enter into the Kingdom. These parables talk about forsaking the good news and waiting till you are completely ready. The problem is, we are only promised this exact moment. We are not promised a later or a tomorrow. So not only do we have to open the door today, we have every effort enter through it!  Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to. (Luke 13) One would not worry of such a thing if they fully surrender their heart and life to the Lord Jesus.

When you feel like God has Forsaken you

Do you ever feel like God has forsaken you? That he has gone far from your cry for help and reprieve from the burdens and heart ache?

You are NOT the only one!

David wrote prophetically about Jesus in
Psalm 22:1
My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?

If you have ever wondered why Jesus the living God would say such a thing on the cross? I did too for a long time. Today God revealed the answer to me and I'd love to share!

Jesus was feeling the weight and burden of the world. He was carrying the sins of the world (before, during and now!) It was during his darkest moment, enduring the hardest hour that he felt most alone. Is that not how we all feel? We feel like we can function one more second. We feel like we are all alone. Some of my Christian Friends will say "never" and I say "But Even Jesus did, that makes my experience no more or less than his." He is our living example of what we would experience here on Earth. There would never be an emotion or experience that we don't all go through in the flesh. He would experience it all.

Do you believe that God forsaked Jesus in his deepest hour? At first I thought he had, after all Jesus was confessing it. What Jesus was confessing was a human feeling. He was sharing the burdens of his physical self dying, he was confessing his spiritual strength waning. Jesus fully flesh and fully God still felt left alone.  However, he never was "fully forsaked". In Isaiah 54, the Lord our God says

"For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee" For those small moments in time when you feel that feeling, God is right there to redeem and give Great Mercy! Look what he did to Jesus! If in that last hour he "felt" forsaken, God would come through our Hero and grant great mercy! Jesus would rise again! Won't we all if we fully trust in the Lord when we feel like we are in the last hour?

If you are feeling forsaken, trust that it's likely either an illusion of the burdens of your heart, soul and spirit, or that in this small moment God is working out a greater plan where he promises you so much! Those promises include: great mercy, everlasting kindness, no wrath, no rebuke, keep you far from oppression, walk without fear and the promise that NO weapon formed against you shall prosper!  (Isaiah 54)

"O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, behold, I will lay thy stones with fair colours, and lay thy foundations with sapphires"  In your deepest darkest hour, when all alone, you will never truly be forsaken, God is in the business of restoring, redeeming and giving you even Greater Things than you had ever imagined!

Praise You God, Thank You Jesus!
