Runnerboy and Kids ate it all up (ok I had some too ;-)
Ingredients:
- 3 oz of unsalted cashews (unroasted) bought them in the bulk section of whole foods
- tsp healthy spread
- 1 scoop chocolate whey protein powder
- 1/4 cup all natural peanut butter
- 2 tblsp honey
- tblsp of ground flaxseed
- 1/4 cup whole wheat flour
- Optional (3 tblsp of dark chocolate mini morsals ) **please note calories include chocolate**
In Side Bowl- Mix Peanut butter, whey protein, flour and honey
Top with chocolate mini morsels and bake at 350 degrees for 5 minutes
Cool & Slice
Nutritional Facts per slice
- 140 calories
- 13.5 grams of fat
- 15 grams of carbs
- 6.5 grams of protein
Cut these up and use them as snacks during the week.
You could try pb2 and see if that aids in pb taste without the extra fat! Hey if you do let me know how it turns out! I must buy some more of that great stuff :)
