What is a Cooperative Learning Group?
Cooperative learning is an educational approach which aims to organize classroom activities into academic and social learning experiences.
Why Join a Coop?
An opportunity to foster positive interdependence while learning. Students do not just 'socialize' together but rather interdepend on each other to learn and grow. Students learn to cooperatively capitalize on one another’s resources and skills (asking one another for information, evaluating one another’s ideas, monitoring one another’s work, etc)
What is the parents involvement?
The parents are the teachers. Each parent leads or co-leads groups of children in their learning!
We are a Christian based Group, however we are open to all Home Schooling parents and students no matter their Faith or religious background or testimony. Our prayer is that our Coop Learning Group can enrich your life through this unique learning experience with each other! There is so much we can learn from one another.
Open for Grades k-6
